How long do LT1's typically last?

How long do LT1's typically last?
I'm thinking about getting a 1995 Caprice 9C1 for a daily driver, and the only thing that has me a little worried is that the motor has 160,000 miles on it. I believe it has been well maintained as the current owner is a mechanic. Are there any big worries for an LT1 of this age? How long do they typically last?

If that LT1 has been on synthetic oil all its life then it may go 250,000 miles or more. If its been on conventional motor oil it may be getting close to rebuild time.
