axle bearing??
MY car is making a roaring noise, sounds like from the rear driver side wheel. Could it be a wheel bearing or axle bearing? How much and how hard is it to put in.Thanks :D :cool:

Well... considering we have IRS and halfshafts, not axels........... Im guesing its the wheel bearing... Get the tire off the ground and try to see if there is play in the wheel. Up and down. You will have to buy a hub assebly, you cant just do the wheel bearing. They can run anywhere from $120-180 plus I guess about 1.5 hours of labor give or take.......

Yup, wheel bearing. But you should replace the U-joints while youre at it.
