87 "Y" pipe connection???

Default 87 "Y" pipe connection???
How does the "Y" pipe connect on an 87? A friend is stopping by after he lost a muffler. Looks like the "Y" pipe broke between the muffler and the "Y" connection.

Mine is a 92 and I never crawled under an 87.

The rear Y connects to the cat with a 2 bolt flange. Pretty easy to remove the rear Y and mufflers.
