Re: need quick answer - minimum rotor thickness (Ramrod92)
Thanks guys,
I brought them in to work to measure (we have a machine shop), but the rotors were pretty rusty and I couldn't read the numbers from the casting. Turns out I'm 0.020" over the discard thickness, so I don't have enough meat to machine them, but I can throw them back on. I was planning to install Porterfield R4S brake pads, but I won't do that until I get fresh rotors. While I've got everything apart, I've found more parts that need replacing (busted crown gears on the FX-3 shocks, 2 FX-3 actuators with busted plastic gears and a bad rear bearing/hub), so I would rather not spend $350 on rotors right now.
