Default More clutch questions

Planned to install a complete single mass set up from Doug Rippie. Found out today that the clutch they sell is a Spec. I've heard so many horror stories on the forum that I'm afraid to try them. Has anyone used the machined Camaro flywheel and the Camaro disc with a Corvette pressure plate? The application is a 91 L98. I have to do something soon, I have to replace the clutch before I start to drive it. Thanks in advance for any input. :banghead:

Just pulled my Spec clutch as part of my 383 build up. Engine builder called and said the pressure plate was cracked :skep:

The good news: It didn't shatter and remove my feet.
The bad news: The pressure plate is cracked!

FWIW: Going back to stock FW. Like the performance of my aluminum SM, but not worth the noise.

We often forget to say thanks to those who help us. Thanks Andy for the single mass part numbers.
