Default suspension

When did the c4's stop using leaf springs and do all c'4's have the same potential for good handling?

I don't think they ever had leaf springs? They have always had fiberglass composite springs.

Yes they all have the same potential. It just depends on how much money you want to spend, and how long it takes to tune in your suspention.

Its a transverse composite fiberglass spring, ALL C4s have them. I believe all C5s and C3s as well. But i'm not sure on all the midyears and solid axles, they probably had transverse springs too.

With the right combination, they can all handle equally. But the combination will vary.

The C3's had transverse rears and coil fronts.
