I had both window motors go at one time and need to replace them. I was hoping to find out how to do it and maybe a diagram of the area to aid in my replacing them. If anybody could help me I would appreciate it.
It is fairly straightforward. Don't plan to change the entire regulator. I just removed my interior door panel, and unbolted the regulator and laid it outside the door. I then separated the window motor from the regulator (3 allen bolts if I remember correctly). The brushes in my motor were worn and the springs behind the brushes were weak.
I just stretched the springs and replaced the motor with the same brushes. That was 3 years ago. The cost was right ($0.00). You may want to try this before going the more expensive route.

I have asked that same general question here... I have 2 VERY wobly windows.... I have intentions of taking lots of pictures when I do it... but I'm affraid todo it as I don't know ifI have to buy entire new regulators yet.
Wobbly windows??? That doesn't require much work at all. Remove the interior door panel, then look for the bumpers that rest against the window at the top of the door (behind the panel). You will see that you can just loosen the nuts and slide the bumpers in against the window until you get the proper adjustment.
Yo Purp...Ok, Looks like my window motor may have a problem. I've gotten the door panel off (including the stainless steel panel inside the door) and I managed to get the the motor cover off, but how do I get the whole "window lift" (or regulator) assembly outta the door to look and adjust the brushes? I can see the brushes (unit still in door) but I have to get the unit out to adjust brushes and...put the motor cover back on!
Help...I'm stuck.
