I sold my car to a guy on over here its a 383 trick,zz9. ect and it has an acell dfi on it. Know the problem is that this guy took off the mini ram and put a stock tpi on it for toque.
When he did this he managed to earse all his dfi settings. We fixed the dfi computer and it is working correctly know but we need to retune it comletely
Does anyone have a fuel program for it that you could email like with the global groups and everything.
Thanks You,
Shane
DFI 6.32 software has a base line fuel utility in it that will get you up and running. I'm not sure if 6.2 has this. You input your injector size and peak torque RPM and it calculates a baseline map.

383 didn't give him enough torque? I have a 350 in Formula with an LT1 intake and get crazy spin in first gear.
Man that stock tpi is going to choke that eng, see if wants to get ride of the mini ram for a low price. Sounds like he might give it away.
Go into the "Utilities" section of "Global" and give the ECM what it asks for (ie., injector size, fuel pressure, hp, and rpm peak)...But, note that the CALMAP software is really crappy when it comes to building a base map to start from...It's almost always WAAAYY too fat! Usually so fat that it washes the plugs out (and will wash the rings if you're not careful)...So, be VERY conservative on what you tell the software the hp is and where the power peak is... That should get you started, from there you'll just need to start tuning. One hint, get either a wide-band A/F meter or an EGT guage and use that for tuning purposes.
