Default motor back together but problem ??

I just had 91 vette 58cc heads put on my 85 and lingenfelter headders and a lingenfelter 213 .496/.520 lift cam put in my question is
my mechanic said that on of the lifter on the passanger side was making a noise but not all the time so he tightened it the best he could and said it might go away so I drove it home it drove fine I go out tonight and when I get off the highway (no I was not beating on it) when I take off and give it more than 1/4 throttle it back fires on me so I pull into a gas station and pop the hood and rev it up a few times at the trottle body it makes a horible knocking noise trought the trottle body and out the air filter but it sound fine at an idle
can still here the lifter ( I think a little more ) also I saw smoke come out the passenger side eghaust (have true duels) I thinh that that lifter took a crap on me and it's on the eghaust side and that is why it's back firing a little?? and what is that god awful noise coming out the trottle body ???
help please my mechanic is not in until monday

another note I got some powder coating done and want to show it off but can't figure out how to load them on this sight help???

If the exh. valve is not opening, it will cause the noise you hear through the tb. Pull the valve cover and see if you can locate the one that is noisy. readjust it and see how long before problem returns. You could have either a bad lifter, a rocker arm nut that is bad and turning loose, if you have press in studs maybe that is pulling up, or your cam could be wearing out! Hopefully it is just a bad rocker arm nut!
