Ok how do you get the thing that the pulley bolts too off the end of the crank? :smash: Does it take a speical puller? Also does anyone have any good ides to get tree stripped bolts out, so I can remove my flywheel. I need to get my crank out so I can send the block out. :mad
Yes... you need a balancer puller. It basically looks like a 4 pronged thing, with a slot in each prong, and a large fine threaded bolt through the middle. (3 of the prongs make a triangle, and the 4th is between two of the triangle legs).
Do you have your engine out? If so, the hub that your damper/pulley bolts to is easily pulled with a good quality steering wheel puller.

Are you talking about the bolts holding your flywheel to the crank?

:iagree: That'll do the trick. Much better than beating on it with a hammer. Just make sure you have the crank bolt out and don't use too small of a puller bolt because you dont' want to damage the crank threads.
Yes the motor is out. I have the center bolt that goes into the crank out. Do I need a small puller that goes into the bolt hole? I dont care about the threads in the crank because Im putting in a new one.
