It sounds to me like it might be the bushings/washers on a sway bar. I hear it reflect off the curb of residential street when I'm driving like 25mph. My mechanic could find nothing. His only guess was he says there's some kind of rattle in the mufflers, but he didn't think that would be it.

Hmmm, could be anything from your description. Front or rear of car? Passenger or driver side? Does it do it on smooth surfaces or just bumpy ones?

If your car isn't all over the road when driving I would not think it's the sway bar bushing or anything loose with that part. Is it still there when you apply the brakes? It also could be a converter shield.
Car's not all over the road, drives great. Brakes don't affect the noise. Where I notice it the most is driving up my street at about 25mph; smooth surface; curbs reflect the sound. Like I said, I had a good mechanic go looking for the sound and his only guess was the mufflers.

Do you hear it when you accelerate? It might be a cat breaking up if it stops under acceleration. The exhaust pushes the pieces back and holds them there.

There is a support bar that goes between the frame and the rear quarter panel near the marker lights. Make sure the bolt that goes to the frame is tight. The other end attaches to the wheel well with a torx.
Thanks for all your suggestions. It'll probably be awhile before I get a chance or bother myself to really scope these out. I do appreciate your suggestions.
