Don't know what you drive - my son just put one of these on his '92 LT1.
It seems some folks have more problems than others with pulleys and such when removing the driver's side bolt. But on his car, there was none of that. We have one of those flat special bars for removing serpentine belts in tight places - we found it essential. Used the bar to loosen (not remove) the serpentine belt to allow enough room to extract the bolt on the driver's side, slid the bar into place and using a 16mm crows foot on the flat bar, was able to slip the bar between the brace and waterpump to loosen the belt again to re-insert the bolt (used factory on left side - used a supplied bolt on the right side). Torqued things up, test drove, retorqued 1/3 turn and that's it! Looks great and car drives like its on a rail.
