ok here it is, thursday i bought my first daily driving 89 coupe. the right rear side is making an odd noise, sounds like a bearing about to go out. (ordered a hub assembly earlier today) hope that fixes the problem. second problem is he headlight motors dont want to bring the lights all the way up. i was thinking about ordering new motors but, could i rebuild them? does someone make a rebuild kit? if so who. third problem is my exhaust sounds like its leaking from the bottom of the manifold. i went to the dealer today and they said that they didnt show a gasket. well it leaks i can feel it on the driver side. the fourth and last is that the bose system pops and makes a high pitched noise. my question is has anyone ever installed a aftermarket stereo system and how hard was it. any info anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Check the tech tips section for the headlight repair and the Bose repair. You can send the amps off for repair if you want to stay with the Bose system.
there's no trick to installing an aftermarket stereo.
only thing is you have to replace the speakers and the headunit at the same. they won't work seperately cuz the the speakers have their own amps.
