Getting 2151's ready for coating
Calling all Hooker 2151 owners.
I vaguely recall a few posts about header ports not lining up correctly on aluminum heads, but I can not remember if it concerned Hooker or Headman.
Can anyone help me confirm this before I ship mine out to get coated.

I have a few options here in the Oklahoma City Metro area, High Performance Coatings (HPC), and Airborn Coatings. I have had headers coated by Airborn before ($205), no problems. HPC costs about $20 more, I believe both have a lifetime warrenty.
I found some discussion about Hedman headers needing modification to make the ports line up on 113 heads, any thoughts or experience with Hookers.

Thanks, that sounds about right. I looked into Jet Hot, and there is also a company in Georgia that does ceramic coatings.
I'm looking to buy a set of headers within the next month, so I'm collecting info, too. There is lots of archived info here, though.
