That happened on to of the injectors from my IROC so I cut some clips from sheet Al and formed them to fit.
Realy the clips hold the injectors in place during insertion into the intake base so I don't think they will leak. I think some guyse on the Forum have installed them without clips and had no leaking problems.
BTW, the trick when pushing on the clip tab to rotate it is to push on the side so as to compress not expand the clip. That way they won't break.
It's funny that you would mention this because I have my fuel system appart and I just discovered that THREE of my injectors didn't even have these clips on them! And I had my injectors changed over 2 years ago, which means I've been driving around like this for some time! I've orderd new clips from GM - they should be in tomorrow - but my injectors never leaked. Although I am now taking the opportunity to correct the situation.
