Where to put the jack stands?

I have a 2 1/4 ton floor jack and a 4x4x14 piece of pine that I set on the lifting puck and jack the vette up from the spare tire carrier. (Thanks, Mr. Mojo!)
The question now is: where do I stick the jackstands? I know about the two jacking locations along either side, but both seams appear to be pretty well chewed up due to it being jacked up in the past, so I would like to avoid those locations.
It looks to me that theres a good spot just forward of the rear tires where the frame appears to be easily accessible and prime to a set of 3 ton stands, although it looks like theres a fuel line running along the edge. Is this a good location to put the stands? How about up front?
If anyone currently has their car up on stands and wouldnt mind taking a couple close-up pics, I would be very, very, very appreciative!
I know its such a basic question, but as a cash-strapped teenager I can ill afford to make a mistake of any kind. I've been putting off many repairs until I have a good way to get beneath it. (Front brakes, parking brake adj., painting the flowmaster exhaust, tire rotation, some minor painting, lowering the rear end, power antenna motor removal, cleaning, replacement, and it goes on...)

At the front, I've placed them right where the sway bar is attached to teh frame.
