Default X pipe for LT1

Can anybody give any info on this? Does it increase performance? Where is the best place to get one? Thanks in advance. :seeya

Dr Gas sells one. Or you could just have your local exhaust shop fab one up. You probably will not see much gain but you will notice an increase in the volume of the exhaust sound as you will have to remove the stock resonator to put it in. I have one in my custom 3" setup that is right after the transmission.

It will not give you a significant HP boost, but if you are removing the stock resignator thats about 30lbs. It will give you a little different exahust note, but it all depends on if your doing anything else along with it. I got my B&B x-pipe on ebay. I have read good things about Dr. Gas, but a good muffler shop could probably save you some $ and do just as good of a job. Good luck. :chevy
