Default Headliner Repair Question

My headliner on my removable top is starting to sag badly. How do I get is out? Is there an outer trim on the top that I have to take off? Or does it just come out some how? I anyone has any info I'd be pleased to hear it.

Default Re: Headliner Repair Question (Brian Blum)

It kinda just pops in there. I gently pulled the rest of the fabric down. The glue on the edges was all that was left holding it up. You might end up stretching or tearing it, but thats no big deal. Then I rubbed and scraped all the glue residue from the dense backing foam. Got some 3m spray adhesive, and reapplied new fabric starting in the center. I cut that and tucked in the edges with a butter knife.

After 6 months, it still looks as good as new. This is in the archives I think. Also, you should mask off the frame to keep from scratching it with scissors or getting glue residue on it.
