Default n2o and overdrive?

I run out of 3rd at 97mph so that means in the 1/4 I will have to use OD. Now as long as my RPMs stay over 3000 can I still spray?
Has anyone tried to spray, lets say you're on the highway and spray thru the gears and into OD? will this be a problem? I know now that I should have gone with 3.54's instead of 3.73's but man they pull hard... :smash:

I have used it in overdrive. There have been a lot of write ups and tech articals about using nitrous in you highest gear. The thing you need is the engines ability to rev freely. Most of the time in OD with say 3.07's your rpms can't rase fast enough to use nitrous. Posably down low like 3000-4000 but not at say 6000. Now you have 3.73s. That changes things. You engine will rev faster then most and it shouldn't be a problem. I still wouldn't run it untill 6000 that often but I would say 5000 would be okay. It also depends on how much nitrous your runing. I have used a 150 shot untill 4000 in OD with 3.07s in the rear and forged pistons. I probably will never do that again but she stayed together.
