Default HP Regained...

So.. I just got a laptop from ChiMan.. and was playing with Carputing's free software PCMComm.. Me and my buddy went out for a cruise I had him monitor the laptop while I drove... and anyhow we noticed that it never went to 100% Throttle Postion.. only and 80% that means I was loosing about 20% or 1/5 of my throttle so we adjusted the throttle cable (mine has the ASR) and now it seems a bit quicker.. especially since I have had this car for almost a year and all this time it has been missing Full Throttle.. So this has been a little learning experiance for me kinda cool what computers can do for you..

Are you sure your TPS sensor is adjusted correctly? I believe it goes to full throttle when it sees 3.6 volts or something like that.

yes it is adjusted fine.. I had some serious slack in my throttle cable.. when you hold the gas pedal I could move the throttle plates much farther.. and see 100% throttle.. I thought about that too.. the tps not being adjusted correctly.. but wasnt the case. and my car is much quicker now.. I love it... free hp I never knew was there...
