trans shifting ???
just got a new trans and stall should the shifting points(or rpms)be the same for 1to2 as like 2to3 they seem to be different it leaves 1st at like 5200 but it stays in 2nd till 5900 should they be like that? :confused:

Is your TV cable adjusted properly. Also, sometimes it takes a few hundred miles for all to "work itself out". Do A serach to find out how to properly adjust your TV cable(the cable on your throttle linkage that runs to your tranny).

If those are WOT shift points the 1-2 seems a little low for an LT1.
You need to change the weights/springs in the governor to change those shift points; the TV cable control line pressure and so part throttle shift points and firmness.
