Default Brake advice please.....

Had some brake problems yesterday, seems I have a caliper locked up on the front of my 87 model. Planning on buying some brakes (soon) to replace the stock units that have 104k.

How many of you have gone back with the stock style rotors and calipers and been happy?

Is it really worth it to spend big bucks on a 13inch set-up if you dont road race? Its hard for me to drop big money on stopping parts instead of go fast goodies. Just need something safe for street use.

Also dont want to create a problem using slicks and skinnies at the track.

How about a good stock size aftermarket rotor with stock calipers and hard lines?

All opinions welcome. Thanks.

Going fast is awsome but stopping is better. :D
Doing 11's I'd get some decent brakes that's out there.
