Ecklers valve cover paint
I recently ordered Ecklers valve cover paint expecting to receive some carefully color matched, high temperature automotive engine grade paint. What I actually got was a can of nickle colored spray paint that looked like it came off the shelf at Home Depot. It is not even high temperature paint and the can looked nothing like the one in the catalog. It is basic wood/metal paint. Is this the correct paint for valve covers or does it sound like Ecklers ran out of the real stuff and sent me this instead?

I ordered a can from them as well. Its very "generic looking" to say the least. It works great and I even used it on my intake manifold when I rebuilt the motor. Since then I powdercoated my valve covers red but they looked good after the paint job. No cracking, peeling or anything. Good luck
