A/C & diagnostic code question?
Over the winter the AC unit began flashing after start up. pulled the codes
08 = Solar Load Sensor Short
09 = Low Freon Detected
Question 1. The compressor does not engage at all when I set temp to cool setting. Is this normal when I have the above codes?
Question 2. I attempted to add freon from a recharge kit (the system has already been upgraded to 134) It will not take any freon in, I'm thinking this is because the compressor is not engaging?
Before I run it out to an AC shop and pay for it. I figured I would see if anyone here had any insight as to what the problem might be and what the possible fixes are.
