Default LTR INTAKE QUESTION

What is the proper way to torque the intake after the new gasket and the RTV have been put on. I dont want this thing to leak again, I just did this last year and dont want it to leak again. Do I need to wait 1 day before driving the car after the intake has been torqued for the Sealer to cure?
any help appreciated. Tell me your experiences.

Start with the bolt in the center of one side and work your way around in a big circle. Finger tight the first pass, then to 3/4 spec the next, then to full torque spec. I do not remember off the top of my head what that spec is though. Make sure you use a good 1/3-1/2" bead of RTV (I use red or orange depending on what I have in the tool box). Also be sur to get the area around the oil pressure sensor good, and follow a small bead up the gasket to the top of the fork groove. Best results are found when you give the RTV enough time to sit up, generally at least 12 hours.
