Not sure what it does, but its the one right before the alternator, the power steering pump is right below it. How to I take this pully off? I have to get to a power steering line right behind it....actaully it might be the power steering pump, I'm not looking at it right now so I'm not sure. Thanks
Nathan
if it's the power steering pump (lines will run to the rack and reservoir), then you need a puller and a press to put it back on. Should not have any bolts or anything obvious holding the pulley on.
Might be able to borrow a puller from autozone or their clones.
I recommend just buying a good PS pulley puller as you will likely be back into it again. I ended up paying autozone like $40 for one that had already been abused.
If it is big then it is the PS pulley. If it is small then it is the idler pulley and you just take out that bolt and pull it off by hand.
As a side note, also from experience, don't overtighten the PS lines as that will make then leak.
