Edelbrock heads?

i was looking on spdc2000's web site and ran across these heads.There the
E-TEC 200 http://www.sdpc2000.com/cart.asp?act...=1125&pid=8483 Jus curious if any one was running these? pro's and con's of these heads thanks JAY

I'm interested as well, that's a pretty good price for assembled aluminum heads. But I don't like the idea of straight plugs, wouldn't that be tough to change plugs with headers?

I know a guy that ports heads and swears buy a set of ported Edelbrocks on a 3SBC-50, email me if you want his info, he'll port them for $350

Pretty sure that price is each. You would have to use their Vortec intake manifold with these heads too. A 200cc port is also better suited for bigger, or high RPM motors, but if you can use it, it's a pretty good head. I think AFR-180, or 190 would be better though.

These are Edlebrock Performers. That price is each too. I'd go with AFR-180s for about the same price, more flow. I believe they are avaliable with angle plugs too.
