89 A/C control panel, digital style, HELP!!!
Just purchased my first Vette, and need help. The only problem with the vette is A/C temp stays in auto mode, and can only increase temp setting, not decrease. Fan speed stays constant, I guess because it's in auto mode. Please help>>>>>>>>
Also, can it be changed to the manual style controller.

Did those shorts cause the fuse to blow or the alternator to discharge??
I'm having a problem with that fuse and I suspect the short may be related to the heater control. It blows a fuse everytime I hit a bump!

You will need to replace it. I had the same problem. I bought mine on Ebay. It was much cheaper on Ebay. I just made sure I checked the feedback of the person I was buying it from.

my unit was blinking and i was unable to control temps etc.. probable bad connections internally. after removing the dash and all i figured just replace the whole thing screw it! Maybe i shouln't have used the word "short"
