Still looking to do my 4:10 swap and was wondering what you guys thought.

I feel richmond is one of the best gears you can get. I feel its the way to go if you ask me.

Basically just installing them in 3 different cars, the quality is def. there. And knowing a bunch of people with them. Never whine, if installed properly. There shim/install kit is complete... nothing extra needed

If your thinking of D44, I think Richmond 4.10s are strip type gears which make more noise than stock by design - stronger design makes more noise. Toms Differentials has a nice set that is as quiet as stock and costs about the same 210.00.

I've got Richmond 4.09's in mine...They've been in there for a long time and were set up correctly...Didn't matter, from 50 miles on they whined, they still whine, they'll be whining til the day I pull them out. Richmond quit offering the 4.09 for awhile because of this if I remember correctly.
