Default Need help with AC vacuum source

If you have an '85, I'd sure appreciate some help. I apparently broke off the source line for my AC vacuum while doing the cap and rotor thing a while back. The line I'm interested in starts at the back of the plenum, above the fuel pressure regulator. It is the back one of the two. It tees at a check valve. One leg goes to the cruise control, the other leg is the vacuum source for the AC. I found a hard plastic line about six inches long with a rubber boot on one end. I think this goes on the tee. But the other end is a mystery. I think it must go into the wiring bundle somewhere, but I have no clue where. It has to get through the firewall somewhere. I've searched and searched, but I can't find where it used to connect.
Because this is disconnected, my AC comes out all the vents at once- floor, dash, and defrost.
If anyone can look at theirs and tell me where this line goes, it would be a big help.
Thanks.

You've just described my '86. Yes, someone please describe a good fix for this. I tried to splice with soft vacuum hose, but apparently it's still leaking.

There is a vacuum routing schematic on the front left side of my radiator do you have one on yours?
