I've got a few questions. Below are pictures of my valve springs and seals.
On pic you can see that springs are dual; do you also have stock dual springs?
Also I saw that when ordering valve seals they are always sold in set of 16, but I only had seals on intake valves
What are this little plastic shims that were on valves
I had to brake them to get the valves out of valve guides.
Do I have to order these also or what?

Re: Valve seals, springs ... (Sliding)
You should have dual springs. Dual springs are a performance spring that they handle high rpm's and withstand hard driving. The one piece in your photo that looks like a cup is a "Umbrella" This works like a seal. The other piece is a valve seal. I know that when I replaced mine a few months ago, The small seal that looks like a O ring where just breaking off. I am not sure if this is what you where considering a "Shim". This is the only part that I could think of that would break when removing. When you install all the new seals, Put oil on them. They slide on easier. Good Luck.
I had to order the umbrellas as the separate order. When I order the seals for mine they only came in with the O-rings and the bottom seals, not the Umbrellas seals. Since I need to put things back together that weekend, I found out the local auto part store has them. I don't know if you have that kind of luck.
