Default AC gremlin

My AC quit working on the '84. There should be a wire running between the pressure cutt-off, and the cycling switch. If I jumper these two switches together, everything works. Does anyone know where the wire goes, and if it has a connector somewhere along it, that could be the source of the problem? :smash:

Wires are spliced to provide a ground path through the high pressure switch, then to the lower pressure switch & then to the frame for a/c clutch operation. Splice should be in a 1/4 or 1/8 inch loom following the high pressure line, so it should be somewhat easy to find. May have melted if it contacted the header. Lead is from dash assembly, I believe out from the front harness connector behind the battery.
