I removed one of the speakers amps that was blown to be sent for repairs, next I started the car and noticed the radio goes on but no sound, the power antenna wont move up/down and the climate control is dead......nothing, the background light goes on but nothing on the display, none of the buttons light up or work at all, can all these problems be related? everything was fine before I took apart the rear speaker amp....
UPDATE
It was the courtesy lights fuse, what the hell do the courtesy lights have to do with the radio....beats me (well I guess it controls the radio stay on till the door is opened and the ign key removed thing) but the climate control?????
Well.....like I always tell my wife......I'll never understand Vettes nor women behavior but I cant live without either one of them.
Thanks for all your replies, guys(and gals)
My guess is that it is a blown fuse in one of the auxiliary fuse blocks. Maybe I missed the year ~ but didn't see one. Check under the knee bolster on the passenger side. The fuse block is suspended in the wiring harness that runs in that area.
