The horsepower gain is at full power max. revs so you will not see much difference while cruising at hwy speeds. If you go to the B&B internet site, I think they have a power curve demo for the hp increase.it is advertised at about 20 -25 hp gain but I do not believe that is even close. probably more around 10 to 15. But it all adds up. There have been many posts on its sound resonance . It is very obvious at about 1500-1700 rpms at 70 mph with 6th gear. Automatic folks have said it was not too over bearing at that speed. I tolerate it but if it gets annoying just go to fifth gear to get rpms above 2000. It sounds less annoying there. The resonance is due to the 3" system and B&B will give you a restrictor pipe extension which reduces it back to 21/2" to reduce the resonance but then you defeat its purpose. Most drivers get used to the resonance . You get compliments from enthusiasts about the sound though, they think it sounds awesome. The tips are a great improvment from the vaccum cleaner stock tips.

:iagree:
The sound is worth any resonance you may encounter. It varies and you do get used to it! The fit and finish is very nice !
Another plus is that both tips on either side are functional. If you see a Corsa sytem, you will notice that only the inside tips are actually passing exhaust.

Not so on the Corsa only using one pipe. It uses both, but the "inside" pipe is the one that's straight thru, and is used when you're "on it". No resonance at any cruise. There was a side by side dyno test somewhere on a hotted up ZR1 that had a 3" B&B, then switched to a 2 1/2" Corsa system. It had more torque, an even made a few more horsepower than the B&B. Did I mention no resonance?

Thanks for the correction. I have seen several systems where just the inside tip shows any discoloration so it looked like the outside tip was not being used.

The resonance isn'r really that bad!
