super ram install problems

I am having difficulty getting the valve covers on after the runners are mounted. I am trying to grind the interferance out with a dye grinder but it seems like i should not have to do this. The car has aluminum moroso valve covers. HAs anyone else had experience installing one of these units?

You shouldnt have to grind down the valve covers when installing the runners.

My after market covers were the same way. I ground them to the shape of the runners (little shallow U shapes), and they slide right on now.

I had to do the same. These are pics of my stock covers, I did however have to grind down my Moroso covers as well.

Thanks for the info. :cheers: I just wanted to make sure it was not something i was doing wrong. I guess i will have to keep grinding.
