I have a 1990 L-98 track car. It has a Painless harness. We figured out that if you tell the computer its a Camero you can get in the chip. The car has no O2 sensors. It has long tube headers and no spots for the O2's. On the harness is a connector for the sensors. Would it be possible to sticka cheeter sensor on the harness or somehow make the chip think the car has one ? It keeps telling us it can not get a reading and therefore work on the air fuel.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

You need to have the sensor in order for the computer to adjust AFR. If you stick a resistor on the end that gives it a perfect AFR, the computer will not be able to see what is going on. They shouldn't even be allowed to sell them.
You will have to weld a bung onto the headers collector. It takes a shop about 10 minutes to do it. :cheers:
