Default Setting the Fuel Pressure Regulator

I was just wondering what everyone thought was the optimum fuel pressure regulator setting. I have an 86 with basically stock engine. I might be running her a little lean. Whats your thoughts? :flag

TPIS recommends 49/52 psi for the 86.

Start with the vacuum line off pressure the same as with the stock FRP.

From there you need a way to monitor performance to find the sweet spot in FP:, i.e. a scan tool, a trap speeds or a dyno.

BTW, with my mods I'm running 48psi and dyno pulls show the A/F ratio at WOT is right on.

AFPR is a tuning tool.
Give the engine what it wants. i.e. Need scan tool data, trap speed,....

W/o it, you are shooting into the dark. i.e. Might as well keep the stock reg in there.
