Torque specs ???
:confused: Can anyone tell me what to torque the bearings, and caliper bracket bolts , on the front of an '86. I read a thread recently that confused me. Thanks.

the bolts that hold the caliper to the bracket get torqued to 22-25 lb-ft
the bolts that hold the caliper bracket to the knuckle assy get torqued to 133 lb-ft
The nuts that secure the hub (bearing assy) to the knuckle get torqued to 46 lb-ft
These are the specs I found in the 1986 Corvette shop manual.

:thumbs: Thanks friend. These are the numbers I have in my Haynes manual, but I don't trust it too much, especially after reading that other thread. Gotta get me a real manual.
