Trying to order some bushings and am trying to determine whether or not it is the strut rod or the control arm by definition. I am looking to replace the bushings on each end of what I call the camber arm. It is the thick aluminum arm that attaches the bottom of the rear outer wheel assembly to the bottom of the rear end. They do not have a camber arm bushing listing and I know one of the above refers to the dogbone arms (I think these may be the control arms though).
Re: Need Quick Answer - Strut Rod or Control Arm? (Vette92)
GM calls the camber rods "spindle rods" (I think). Energy suspension calls them strut rods.
The dogbones are called upper/lower spindle control rods by GM. Sometimes known as trailing arms, or control arms (not very accurate IMHO) because of the equivalent part on live-axle cars.
That's going off memory, but I believe it's correct...

Thanks guys, I was talking myself into them being strut rods and I do appreciate the help.
Now to get them ordered from some place that can get them to me this month. Summit has them on B/O until the midle of next month. Time to give a ring out to the guys at suspension.com. They claim they have every bushing in stock. Guess we will see tomorrow. :D They have done well by me in the past.
