Okay now that I have read through the archives I was wondering if anyone could clear something up.
If I am looking to do a 350CID NA Daily driver with heads cams intake exhaust generally full mild mods but no NOS or SC what is the best set of AFR heads. 180cc, 190cc, or upgrade to the LT-4 manifold with 195cc heads.
All three are the same price and are about what it would cost to port my stock heads with the same upgraded internals. Any Ideas? Thanks for any help!!
If you decide on the AFR heads, if it is a daily driver and has 350 ci, I would go with the 180 cc heads.
I presently have the 190 cc heads on my daily driver. I have a Crane cam. Since I don't spin higher than 5700 rpm and have 350 cc, I think the velocity would be better with 180 cc heads.
I personally like the AFR heads. They are very stout and flow well right out of the box, even better with a small amount of work. The 180s are probably best for a mild street setup.
