The catch is that there aren't any books on the subject of "Burning PROMs for your GM vehicle" so everything comes from the web.
Keep this in mind...at all times.
1) First you get your car mechanically sound.
2) Then you tune it manually
3) Then you start messing around with the calibration
There are a bunch of learning curves, but to be honest, once you have all the stuff to burn, youa re ready to go. Make a small change just to keep interested, then read up some more on basic operating conditions.
Corvette Fever had a good article in their November 2000 issue which had nothing to do with actual burning, but went into pretty good detail about the ECM and its sensors. Kinda a cliff-notes of the Corvette Fuel Injection book I mentioned.
