Re: Hawk HPS pads... (lani's 93)
I just put them on my 93 two months ago. Compared to the OEMs they are light dusters, before after driving one day the OEM pads covered the wheels in dust, these I can drive a whole week before it begins to show. As far as braking and noise, very quiet and very good braking.
:iagree:
Was using them, but have stepped up to the heavy duty HP+ for the brembo setup.
I put a set of pads on the front (along with Baer Eradispeeds Rotors) late last summer. I had a bunch of trouble (squealing) with the set up until I had another mechanic look at the setup. It seems that the pads were not installed properly and that included not putting that silicone dampening material on the non-business side of the pads. With these issues cleared up, the car stops much better, no noise, and they don't seem to leave too much brake dust on the wheels. I'm now happy with the (sizeable) investment.

Re: Hawk HPS pads... (RayJay)
I've never used any of the silicone stuff on the back of the pads........ Shouldn't need to. And there is only one way to mount the pads correctly. Otherwise it doesn't want to fit in the bracket correctly.
