ADS Superchips?

ADS Superchips?
Anyone have luck with ADS Superchips? I've read a lot of threads about the Hypertech not being worth the money... ADS any better? If not them, then where can I get chip burned inexpensively?

None of these mass-produced chips is any good, nor are they worth the money.

I bought a computer at the junk yard and it has an ADS superchip for an 86 Corvette- kind of strange that I have an 86 Vette. I have not tried the chip in my car yet because I have already updated mine to the '89 ARAP bin, but if I ever get around to swapping the ADS chip into my car, I will post the results on the forum.

7 or 8 years ago,I was one of those idiots that bought a ADS chip for my 86.I had problems with the idle with it.Totally worthless considering theyre supposed to have the stock programming but delay Torque converter lock up and increase the timing,yet I had problems with it.Believe it or not,over the years,GM has changed their programming a bit for replacement chips for stock engines somewhat.Not a big change but an improvement over the stock factory chip.
I bought an updated GM 86 chip some time back and the car ran soooo much better.Of course,Id still rather get custom programming but would save that for real mods,like a head,cam,intake and exhaust package.
