LT-1 Serp Belt ???????
I can't believe this, but I've been to Goodyear, Auto Zone, Advanced Auto and a local parts shop and all had belts that were one sided (groves on one side only). The one that came off mine is double sided and my sticker says double sided required. Is the dealer the only place you can buy a serp. belt?

Yes. I don't have the part number on me. You can call Chris at Superior Chevy for a good price. 800-728-8267 ask for Forum discount.

I don't have the part number on me... but they ain't exactly cheap.
You can also do what I did... convert to a single sided belt!!
I replaced my idler and tensioner, all I needed was the PS pulley... done and done!
And now you can get the "normal" belt...

Just got a new one from Jeff a few weeks ago. GM part # 10186198 List price is $45.68... $26.27 from Jeff(Now Chris is handling thinks).

Thanks guys. I ordered one from the dealer my son works for, same price as Jeff(Chris). But it comes out of Lansing. Nothing around here carries them. Waiting again. :rolleyes:

Ah, Sacra"tomatoe" Used to live there years ago. What does the back of your belt look like? Bet it has grooves now.
