Default Muffler eliminator question..

Hi guys,I planning to remove my muffler on my 88 and put it street pipe.
I don't know if I should remove my cat for a better sound,or only the muffler is enough?

what do you think guys?

Thank you :)

I have a 94 and i just removed the mufflers, and installed the eliminators. It's sounds nice, but has some resonance at around 1800rpm. Once at HW speeds not bad at all. :seeya

I'm running the muffler eliminators on my '85. I recently replaced the catalytic converter and it still sounds great. I'd leave the cat alone. :chevy

Do the elimnators and leave the cats alone. You may lose torque.
