Rear spindle torque?!?!?!?
I know there has been a lot of activity lately on this topic...my factory manual says 81 lbs./ft., which I know is a misprint. I have a Haynes manual that says 164 lbs./ft.
Lately there was a thread that said the torque for a Dana 44 is 200 lbs./ft.
Will the real torque spec please stand up!!!! :banghead:

My 89 shop manual (GM) has it at 164 lbs. ft. which is what I used.
A response to a recent thread however said GM changed the spec to 200.
Can't confirm this - I'm sticking with 164.
