Default fuel injectors?

Doing intake manifold gaskets, apparently done poorly by previous owner. Upon disassembly checked injectors found two injctors had broken plastic around the injector tips, can they be run like this without any problems. injectors are orginal on 1985 with 37000miles, GM wants $173 each for Bosch. Can I replace just two, or does anyone have an alternative? If I buy an aftermarket set any suggestions re price?value? Thanks

Its best to either buy the two from GM, or replace all of them with Ford SVO #24s.

My advice would be to not get the GM's. They are outrageously expensive. I've now bought a total of 6 of them, and now I have another one gone bad. I'm getting the Fords now, wish I would have done that in the first place and saved a bunch of money.

These injectors sit inplace by friction with a rubber boot like my BMW?Just push and play? Or hows the story of replacing.
