i have a brand new gell cell battery installed, since i thought my old one was bad but after 2 day of sitting its dead!!! I have a power draw somwhere there are no lights staying on. with a electronic voltage unit how can i check to find this problem I have heard of putting it across the pos-neg batery post's and start pulling fuses til the current drops. that will at least got me to the parts of the system that the drain is coming from can anyone help me with this problem?

You will need an ammeter (measures current). There are models available that can be clipped onto the positive battery cable, rather than having to connect them in-line. Once connected, observe the amp reading. Then, as you state, pull one fuse at a time and observe if there is a reduction in amperage. When you locate the area causing the draw, you will need an electrical diagram to trouble shoot for wiring shorts.

If there have been after-market electrical installations, that is a good place to start your trouble shooting.
