Default Coolant pump install?
Is it required to put thread sealer on the coolant pump bolts? The GM manual doesn't mention anything about it. How about the gasket, do you leave it dry or do you use something like Permatex? :cheers:

I just got done removing the H20 pump and cleaning it all up. I would definitely use thread sealer on the bolts (I am). As far as the gaskets go, you should be able to use them without the aid of Permatex. :cheers:

FWIW, I always use gasket sealer on both the bolts and the gaskets.
