I put new disk and pads all around 2 years ago. now my breaks have started viberating like the disk need turning. i have made 6 to 10 runs at the track and normal interstate and city driving aprox 20k miles. The pads have been changed maybe 1 year ago to ceramic. is this just life of a break disk or is it somthing else?

Excessive heat and rapid cooling are death to rotors.
Ill say, not sure if anyone else here had a 5 liter mustang, but they had the worst brakes by far. When I first got it I replaced the rotors and pads. The car stopped nicely during normal driving, no buffeting or vibrating. One day I had to make a quick stop, and the rotors were shot after one hard stop. What a crappy brake system.

:withstupid: I know exactly what you mean. What's the point of brakes if you can't use em to their potential? If I wanted to replace something after every hard stop, I'd go easy on the brakes and rear end the car ahead, and just replace the airbag instead.

It isn't the heating that kills them. If you want to see heat go watch a full day road course event. You won't see that kind of heat driving on the street or braking at the end of a 1/4 mile.
The primary cause of rotor warping is because of uneven cooling. This can be caused by hitting standing water with an extremely hot rotor, improper torqued lug nights or most often by holding the car with the brakes while the rotors are hot.
Holding the car with the brakes is probably the most common cause. Turning the rotors accomplishes very little. The rotor will just warp again, easier and sooner than it did the first time. (metal fatigue, etc.)
